Frequently Asked Questions About Pegasus Legal Funding

1.    Does my case qualify for a cash advance?

We fund many different types of personal injury cases including slip/trip and falls, work-related injuries and construction accidents.  Please contact us to see if your case qualifies for an immediate cash advance.

2.    Do I have to pay back the advance I received if there is no monetary recovery on my case?
No. Our advances are non-recourse, meaning if you lose your case you keep the money and owe us nothing!

3.    How fast is the approval process?
Many companies advertise a “24 hour review and approval process.”  We will deliver on that promise.  In some instances we render our decision within 4-6 hours from receipt of the required information from you and your lawyer.

4.     Are there any out-of-pocket fees?
None!  There are no hidden fees or costs.  We charge minimal processing fees that will be included within the funding contract.  This fee is repaid only if there is a successful conclusion to your case.  You pay absolutely nothing until your case is settled.

5.    Will my information be kept confidential?
Yes! All personal information provided to us by our clients or their attorneys will not be disclosed unless express written consent is given by the client or their attorney or required by a court order.

7.    What if I already have an outstanding funding lien with a different company?
No problem.  Many companies charge extremely high interest rates.  We can save you lots of money by “refinancing” or “buying out” your previous advance and issuing a new funding at our rates, which are the lowest on the market.

8.    How much funding can I receive?
Funding decisions are made on a case-by-case basis depending on the particular facts and circumstances of your case.  A settlement range for your case will be established.  Any funding will be a percentage of up to 20% of your recovery range.

9.    Will Pegasus check my Credit History or conduct Employment Verification?
Never.  Our cash advances are issued against a portion of your future settlement and our decision to provide you with that advance depends solely on the circumstances of your case.

10.   Do we pay for medical, surgical or hospital care?
Yes!  If your no-fault benefits or insurance coverage has been denied and you are in dire need of immediate medical treatment please do not wait until your case settles.  Get the medical treatment you need now.  We have designed a special program that will pay the healthcare providers directly for any type of treatment.  We work with the best surgeons, doctors and hospitals and will negotiate the lowest possible prices for your treatment!  If your treating physician recommends surgery please do not delay, contact us now to see of your case qualifies for surgery funding.
